I don’t know if any of you remember having your fish and chip wrapped up in unused newspapers. I do. That was back in the days prior to them being wrapped up in newsprint paper with nothing on it. Well, the local shop I was telling you about has a great use for newspapers that haven’t sold. They make paper bags out of them. They are very well made too. I had one the other day that I carried my groceries home with me. Once I’d emptied the bag, I caught up on the news. Apparently MJ (Michael Jackson. That’s what they call him over here) has earned $100 million since his death. Not bad for a dead person. I’m guessing the paper bag article was not very fresh. Not like the contents. Hmmmmm. Fresh bread, sliced by the shop keeper.

  1. Hehe that's awesome. I just watched bits and pieces of the MJ movie last night because I was on floor at Hoyts and had to do all our checks. I guess if you like him, it's probably cool, but to me, it seemed like 'practice footage' (which is what it was) and didn't quite have the sparkle or heart of a real concert. A few of the backstage comments and antics were amusing enough though. When you get back, we should go and see my sister's keeper or maybe the lovely bones (we'll need tissues). Also, there is a crazy movie out at the moment called the 'Imaginarium of Dr Parnasus' with Johnny Depp and Heath Ledger which I might have told you about before - it was his last ever movie and he didn't finish filming but they managed to make it come out anyway (with a lot of help from Johnny Depp and co). I saw some bits of it last night and it seems like a crazy beatuiful cross between 'What Dreams May Come' 'Alice in Wonderland' and maybe 'The Tenth Kingdom' but with Johnny Depp so of course it's funny (he has the most amazing expressions).
Love you, can't wait to have you home again papa :)
